WAGNER coating systems have always enjoyed a reputation of reliability and technical progress. Apart from extensive experience in the field of powder coating, this is also based on intensive fundamental research and the latest test methods.

What starts off a virtual, three-dimensional prototype on the computer, will be subjected to a whole series of wear and stress tests during the whole of the development process and right up to the finished standard product. With the help of a specially set up climatic chamber it is possible, to exactly determine and, if necessary, to optimize the behaviour of the equipment under extreme conditions. This facility also enables the engineers to simulate and precisely predict the aging process of a product.

The special conditions prevailing at the customer location must always be considered when designing a coating installation. For this the WAGNER engineers use among others the latest computer programs, which are capable of calculating and recording the individual flow situation of a spray booth. The same principle is also used for development of new booths.

The market has set particularly high specifications for the coating powder and the creativity of industrial designers knows no limits. In order to achieve more and more original effects, new types of powder with special characteristics are constantly being developed.

The basic requirements for WAGNER to continue to carry out intensive tests in this field are based on the desire to keep up with the latest trends. This has led to the test laboratory being expanded to accommodate a spray cloud analysis device, which has been developed especially for this purpose and which supplies important information relating to uniform coating thickness distribution of new paint powders as well as to the optimization of the whole coating process.
